Safety

Safety protocols:

In line with the guidelines set forth by Governor Kemp, OSHA, American Dental Association, and EPA - Reich Dental Center is constantly adhering to the updated regulations and evolving guidelines. We are continuously monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) via the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH), and the World Health Organization (WHO). As we anticipate moving forward with the highest level of safety and consideration for our patients and staff, we want to inform you of the measures we are taking. We greatly appreciate your understanding and THANK YOU for taking these steps with us.

Check in and Pre-screening:

•  Our office will text a link to pre-check in that includes a short Covid-19 screening questionnaire prior to your appointment.
•  We ask all patients who have a fever, symptoms of a respiratory infection, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, GI distress, loss of taste and/or smell, or have been exposed to a person with coronavirus (COVID-19), the flu or any other communicable disease to reschedule their appointments.
•  Patients are required to wear a mask upon entering in the building. This can be homemade, medical grade, bandanna, scarf, etc.
•  Everyone entering our facilities (patients and staff) will be asked to have their temperature taken upon arrival.
•  Only patients and caregivers are allowed in the building. Caregivers include the parent of a minor or those needing assistance. Anyone else will be asked to wait in their car for the patient to have their visit. All caregivers will be pre-screened in the same way as patients and they must also wear a mask.
•  We are limiting how many patients are in the operatories to get treatment. This means we are ONLY taking the patient into the operatories to have work done (this includes children).

PPE used and PPE procedures:

•  Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office, as needed.
•  Patients will be asked to use a pre procedural peroxide mouth rinse before any procedure.
•  Our staff is equipped in Surgical attire which includes but not limited to: Surgical Cap and Coat, Face shield, and KN-95 masks.

UV Sterilization, Air Filtration and Clinical Processes:

•  Staff will sanitize workstations and counters continuously throughout the day.
•  Air purifiers equipped with UV technology are located throughout the office.
•  Clinical staff members will be utilizing extra protective equipment as recommended by the CDC.

As we take measures for the continued safety of our patients and staff, please remember that the best way to prevent the spread of communicable disease is cleanliness and hand washing. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

We wish you and your family good health,
Reich Dental Center
