Dr. Kristin Cooney is originally from western New York where she grew up helping her father in his dental practice. She received her D.M.D. degree from the
University of Alabama School of Dentistry and has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 1997.
As an active member in many local and national organizations, she makes continuing her dental education a priority. Dr. Cooney is involved in the
American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the
Hinman Dental Society.
She has attended the internationally acclaimed
Pankey Institute where dentists are trained in maintaining a high standard of complete patient care while staying abreast of new advances in modern dentistry.
When she is not treating patients, she is spending time with her husband, Ed, and taking care of her triplets: Matthew, Erin, and Maggie.
